Americans are increasingly concerned about the safety of the water they drink.

About 60% say they're worried about the quality of their drinking water, up about 20% since 2001, according to the Water Quality Association in Chicago.

This has led to more sales of home water test kits that check for everything from chlorine to radon. Prices for the kits have fallen to as low as $20, down from as much as $600 eight years ago. Source: WSJ
